Balance Due began with a simple, radical belief: that accountability isn't just a financial term — it's a human one. What do we owe ourselves? Our families? Our communities? For us, the answer became a movement.
Balance Due was founded by Rodney Holt — author, minister, musician, and military veteran advocate known to many as the “Minister of Balance.” It's a nonprofit built to help everyday people turn stress into purpose and chaos into clarity. Through books, a podcast, community programs, and storytelling that blends gospel, soul, and spoken word, we walk alongside the people who hold everything together: the caregivers, the creators, the small-business owners, and the quiet leaders carrying the weight of their families and their dreams.
This shop is where that mission becomes something you can wear.
Every piece is designed to carry a message worth living by — faith, self-regulation, personal growth, community, and equity. The Peace Contract is a reminder that your worth is held in the eyes of the Creator, not in titles or possessions. No Puppet Tears is a refusal to trade your integrity for false success. Our Fisherman's Beanie was made for the caregivers who pour into everyone but themselves. And Dear Forth-Coming, drawn from Rodney's own audio book of “Magic Letters,” invites you to become the author of the life you're creating.
Because we're a nonprofit, purpose comes before profit. When you wear Balance Due, you're not only choosing a well-made, made-to-order piece — you're supporting the outreach, resilience programs, and community work that help the average, everyday person navigate contemporary life with a little more grace.
Clarity over complexity. Purpose over profit. Softness for the strong.
Welcome home. We're so glad you're here.
